cut out at 2000 rpm's can be a number of things,
start with the timing, check fuel pump pressure, check mass air flow sensor, check tps, check injectors, run some injector cleaner just to be safe, check all vacume lines to see if they are in place,

Agree with above...

Is it constant or intermittent? Does your power seem to come back once above 2000rpm or can you even get past 2k?

I would also check your timing, and make sure your getting the proper advance.
