Well after figuring out I have the wrong shackles I went ahead and began the duel ulttimate install. I usually just bench press the t case and throw it in there, but i was not feeling like Arnold tonight, so I used a Jack. I was lazy and didnt cut off the torsion bar mounts so i will be needing to clean those off the frame so I can weld up some L brackets for the FROR crossmember.
I drilled the holes in the floorboard for the shifters, mounted up the cases, and called it a night for now.
Tomorrow will be the crossmember, then the rear axle. I wanted to leave it out just so I have more room to mess around under there.
I will also be re-mounting the rear shocks, since the stock for/aft setup inhibits long travel. I will most likely do the tried and true /\ setup, I may try to angle the shocks rearward as much as possible, but we will see what i have to work with.
