In that next to last picture, after we took some pictures of rigs passing by, we drove out onto that dry lake bed and around the mountain range to the right and checked out some mind shafts that we couldn't find.
GPS was on but we couldn't locate the mines.
Anyhow, the three of us were in high range doing a good 70 across that lake bed. I only had 5 - 7 psi in my tires too, I was a bit worried they would get cooked. But that lake bed was as smooth as ice. And there was a slight breeze to the west, so we were driving a bit staggered from one another in three different parallel lines. It was like a car commercial. The 4.3 was on my front right and the Wrangler was on my rear left, and our dust trails were really really long
That had to have been one of the coolest things I've ever done in a desert on flat ground. Also in the middle of the lake, there is a mound that divides a military zone. Many many "No Tresspassing, Government Military Site" signs that ran down the entire length of the lake. It was really cool-
