I've been to Kauai a couple times. 

I don't remember seeing any rocks big enough to cause any "rubbing"? 

There are plenty just not on any drivable trails.  Only hiking.

I mentioned it once before, I'd buy the RCLT w' the RCV axles except I'd be spending a whole lot to be a poser.

Here the beach is the regular basis.  However, it's illegal.

If moved to my house in Oregon I get that kit for my truck there.
