One of the most enjoyable 4-days I’ve ever spent is at the Run To The Sun Car show in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

Walking around on a golf course next to the Colorado River in mid-October, while listening to Oldies piped throughout the course, seeing more earlier automotive eye-candy than I can take in.

The show now includes 1972 and old cars and trucks.

The most fun for me is getting to chat with the owners about their vehicle and why they spent so much time and money resurrecting and restoring an old relic.

In some cases, they have owned it and preserved it for 40 to 60 years!

I’m curious.  What motivates YOU to resurrect a pickup that appears to be in need of lots of repair and restoration? :dunno:
