I remember living in an old army tent. I had to pee in a coffee can inside the tent. My Mom would not me go outside at night. We didn't have a house. 2 sisters and a brother. Remember being cold and hungry at times. Had hand me down shoes that were too big for my feet. We were poor. My older sister would steal clothes for me sometimes because she was embarrassed by our lack of decent clothes. BUT.... Here I am... made it through the best and worst of times. I think it made me a better person. I appreciate what little things I have. I donate to other causes for those who have less than I do now.
