You can run the stock steering with a 4 inch lift. But you will be getting mad brake steer. I ran that setup for awhile and it wasn't bad. I then lifted it 2 more inches and added a drop drag link. Steered better, but still had brake steer. Highsteer eliminated all the brake steer.
