We tried a couple different things, mostly the red and gold can Jasco from your local hardware store.  We also used a spray can of stuff, I don't remember the name but I'll ask Greg if he can chime in about it. 

The other parts are just plain old #30 sand in a Harbor Freight sand blaster to remove the surface rust and some of the tough spots that didn't quite come clean from the chemicals. 


Same Jasco, just in an aerosol.


After stripping, all panels are sanded with a D/A with 120.


All bodywork is done in 120.
Prime.
Block with 220.
Prime.

That's where we're at as of now on most parts.
