Unless you stare at it really hard, you won't see the auxiliary fans and oil cooler behind the grille and when the engine is running with the new alternator going, those fans kick ass.
I drove her around for more than a half hour in 90°+ heat and the gauge didn't come off of it's usual warmed up level but, the real test will be when I take her up a freeway hill like the Grapevine I-5 north coming out of Santa Clarita, I hope my efforts pay off.
So far I'm happy with the results, we will see this weekend.
My newly adapted battery tray goes back in soon, she is painted with a few coats of epoxy paint so rust shouldn't be an issue.
