So on my 88 I have ran the later model cap and rotor with the clips on the plug wires, but the issue was the wire coming from the coil. I had to use the old style wire without the clip and bend the metal end that went into the distributor to make it fit in the smaller hole. Not sure if you could use the 93/95 coil but I ended up going to a factory cap and rotor for my year
