I see the benefit being cost,primarily. With a long, (20 yrs of functionality), record of being used on trail rigs, I'm not worried about failure.
Worst case, build another. Vibration not a factor at crawling speeds. Who locks 'em in on the freeway?
I know, it's redneck. I thought the same thing too. I'm not putting one of those on my truck.
