I'm getting ready to tear into the r-series I have for my truck.
I'm mainly looking to inspect and clean it out as best as possible, due to the shifter assembly and the fill plug not being on the trans for who know how long.
Is there anything I can fill it with that will clean it out, but not harm the bearings and seals?

If its not gonna be that easy..
Will I need any special tools for this project? (Press, bearing pullers, etc.)  :help: :hammer:

Not trying to hi-jack your thread, so if you could message me or something about this, or just reply on here.
