after thinking about it more, I'm doubting that simply a mis-clocked driveshaft is the cause of this noise. Those in my experience tend to be more of a vibration that isn't noticed until higher speeds. Severely effed up ujoints could do it though.
How did the third member look? If you look up the camo method on pulling steering knuckles it makes that job 100% easier.
