Seen a rad cap on a Chevy do the same thing, the seal was gone and the spring was worn, which allowed it to rattle loose, than boom.
Given Ford's and Chrysler's reliability, not sure I would want to run anything designed to run in their vehicles.
It probably works just fine, but with it being a different color you likely shouldn't mix it, so if you are going to go through the process of flushing the system, you might as well and run Toyota Red.
I did flush it, but the only reason I really went with the G-05 was because I was working at Napa at the time and got a good discount on it, if they carried the Toyota red i would have been all over it. I'll probably be changing out my radiator before it heats up again so maybe I'll flush it and go with the red this time.
