Considered that, but I started looking into it before and after I bought it and it was a pretty common complaint on 89-95 trucks at the time, so I wrote it off as little more than an annoyance.  Haven't burned any holes through my pistons yet, so  :dunno:

So, when you played with the ignition timing, did adjusting it down a degree or two make any difference. Where did you end up?
