The only place I have had to use spacers is with the inner rear mounts when installing buckets, otherwise they seats tilt toward each other.  It usually takes a few stacked washers, however w/the buckets being from the same era as the truck, you may not need any spacers.  I would get them mounted first, then figure out if the need any adjustments.
Ok, thanks for the help. I guess I need to get them re upholstered and then get them in the car.
