I would run a 2x4 in the interior with a tie down strap, to support transmission, then UN bolt crossmember from frame, use floorjack to get right to that sweet spot so you can slide rearward, pull down, don't forget rear driveshaft.
Smartest thing I have ever done even when stabbin a trans use the 2x4 method and it makes it cake
