I feel like an idiot. Automatic wiring harnesses don't have starter relays  :doh:. But I found a great write up for those who don't have relays from the factory even with the manual transmission. http://www.toyota-4runner.org/classic-t4rs/119611-final-fix-intermittent-no-crank-22re.html I did that and I'll report back if it comes back again.
