The first two I broke for that reason-dumping the clutch with the wheel cranked. Then a friend told me thats how they break, so i mcorrected my driving habit and really tried not doing that. Ive broken 3 more since two were in places that i was staring down at the wheel and it was nowhere neer cranked. Oh and the other one was backing uphill while turning to get a cool photo, that one was just me not paying any attention.
somehow!!! .
check your steering stops..My buddy had this problem when he got his toyota..someone had cut the stops out so it would turn sharper.well it did and he broke alot of b/f's before the problem was caught..somtimes they bend in also..
