Well I've had a very sporadic issue of going to start my truck and nothing happening. First it was every 3-6 months. It has become more and more frequent in the last 6 months and finally came to a head the last few days. The first was last Friday when I missed work due to it. Then yesterday as I went to leave work it was dead again. Usually it would simply be a matter of giving it 20-30 minutes and then it would start (dead spot on the starter). However this last time that didn't work and I had to have a buddy throw a tow strap on his truck and tow me in neutral then throw the truck in gear and turn the ignition on to pop start the truck. So I decided enough was enough and went and sprung for a new starter.
