Yeah i hear you about trail gear i try to avoid them but their the only ones who make the Trunnion Bearing Eliminators lol. My friend jarrod has marlin steering arms and we modified them to accept the Trunnion Bearing Eliminators. The hole in the Marlin arm is quite a bit bigger. So Jarrod filled the holes up with some 3/32" 7018 stick rods to make the I.D. smaller then had a close family friend whose a machinist re bore the holes to the correct size so its a press to fit like its suppose to be. I originally wanted to do a sleeve to compensate for the size difference but Brad the machinist said that would create a weak point, when weld metal is laid down the correct way with no discontinuities its stronger than the base metal. This was the final results. Came out good but jarrod probably spent 4-5 hours welding and Brad maybe 3 hours on the mill. Very time consuming lol
