So I'm finishing up my armor refresh in my last couple days of my break. Next up on the road to 37s is going to be a steering overhaul. I need a new pump first and foremost. I will be utilizing
this method which uses the Chillkat TC bracket coupled with an Autozone sourced TC pump. Then I will need to source a separate reservoir for the new pump as well as some new lines to run it all. This will solve my whining 3rz pump as well as give me extra power for turning my 37s. At the same time I'd like to solve my pitman arm hitting my springs problem which I will solve with the Sky's 3/4 less drop pitman arm. I'm not sure what is going to need to be done to clear the 37s in my front wheel wells. I'm hoping that I can further pound the
out of the pinch weld and that will do the trick.
Other things I'm looking at is doing the IFS hub swap + taco or FJ cruiser brake upgrade. It is all going to boil down to what the tax man giveth back to me next month and what I can allocate to the truck before April.
