Are you winching with the engine running or engine off? How long do you pull for at one time? Are you maxing out the load pull capacity on your winch? These are all factors that are determine how much draw your putting on your system.
Your yellow top should be fine and recover well if your charging system is working correctly which it sounds like it is. Just make sure you don't over load your system when winching. The harder the pull the more the amperage and thus the shorter amount of time you can winch without burning something up.
