Install differential breathersSo I finally hit 500 miles on the new rear diff today, so I drained and filled her up. Drain plug had a normal amount of metal in it for a breaking in diff. It has been smooth as silk and I expect nothing less out of a diff from Mr. Wizzard. While I was in there I decided to tackle my LONG overdue diff breathers.
I used intake fittings from a Camry. Part Number : 90404-51026

I opted for these cool little crank case vent filters from Spectre ,that you can find at your local auto parts store, for the other end.

For the rear I didn't want it in the cabin due to diff oil stinking like

. So I decided to pull my driver side brake light and put in behind there.

I routed it down from the corner through where the stock spare tire goes. I made sure to give a good amount of slack for axle articulation.

For the front I put it in my engine bay obviously. I put it as high as I could get it without my hood interfering. Kind of pointless though as it is higher than my intake now and if I have water that high then I've got bigger problems than water in my diff

I ziptied it down against whatever I could to keep it out of the way from my header ,and also just to keep it tidy.

I found that my two E-Locker breathers are 1/8" not the 1/4" that these fittings are. No biggie I'll just have to get some 1/8" hose and one of these guys and splice into what I have now.
