Finally brought this home. It's a JC Higgins/Marlin Model 43DL 103. Shoots 22 shorts and 22 long rifle. My wife was ringing the quarter sized steel paddle targets repeatedly with it last night off hand at 50 yards. I could only hit the silver dollar sized paddle every time. I guess she is a better shot than I am
. Trigger is really nice and it feeds well and holds a lot of shells in the magazine, not sure how many yet.
This will mainly be used by our son on prairie dogs.
