. You also state that it's a second Gen but most would call this a first gen. Unfortunately although your numbers add up and it would seem fair to take a $4000 loss it just doesn't work that way. You should look at what else is for sale in your price range and compare what they put into them. A shiny new paint job might get some interested in paying a little more while it won't make a difference to others.
When I was looking to buy a crawler there was a first gen, long bed (bobbed) almost everything was new on it, similar build to yours but it had a fresh 22re swap(smog legal) and a shiny new paint job. The thing looked really nice, wish I could have bought it, he was asking $7k or $7500.
