You should be able to use any case from 95.5 to 2004 from a 2.7 4x4. The only thing that may change is the speed sensor depending on what year you get on wich case you just put the one from your old case in its place. It's been awhile since I've had a 2.7 or 3.4 trans or trans case in my possession but a case from a 3.4 those years might have the same bolt pattern as well. Cause I think the adapter to run gear drive case is the same for 2.7 and 3.4 wich would mean the have the same bolt pattern.
