I just got my chilkat mounts on Saturday.  I went down to orielllys and got some of the rubber isolators.  I was installing them by myself so I fought it at first, then I realized the rubber mounts I got from the parts store had the holes drilled too close together, so I plasma cut some wider holes in them.  The chilcat mounts worked great and they communicated well, telling me when they would ship out.  It would have taken me longer to build some myself than the 150 bucks it took.  (in value) if that made any sense.
