I got some work in on this yesterday and today. Finished up the front axle assembly. I cut the splash guards so the still have the brake line mount. I have cut it all off in the past but this time I did it a little different. This way mud and rocks don't get caught inside but the hard line has support where the braided line mounts up. All stock brakes for now. I do like that solid rotors cannot get mud stuck in them like the vented rotors. My main concentration is to get it be a driver.

I have decided to do some DIY bead locks on the factory Sr5 wheels and cleaned up real nice. They clear the high steer and I will get an additional 1" off set with the DIY bead locks. I think they will look trick and it will keep the all Toyota theme, well for the most part.

I installed the diffs. I used Lube lockers for the different gaskets. I had them laying around and figured I would use them. Not sure if they are reusable.

Still need to weld the rear spring perches. I'm waiting for drive shafts so I can set the pinion angle and then I will be able to mount the shocks. I removed two leaves from the all pro rear springs.

Drive shafts are at South Bay Driveline. He has built a lot of drive shafts for me and they come out great for the price. Gave him two 1985 front drive shafts and one rear. He is going to build a rear with double card an off a front and use heavy wall tube so it doesn't ding easy. The front will have an extreme slip shaft and a double cardan joint. The extreme slip will make it possible to put it on the rear if no other option is available.
