Pulled the cases back out today. Guess I have a rare top shift case. The 2wd/4wd shift rail has a huge stopper deal on the end of it. The instructions don't have any info about it. Anyhow shame on me for not test shifting the rear case prior to installing it. I just figured since I hadn't touched it I shouldn't need to check it. The big stopper was making contact with the crawl box adapter. So it wasted a bunch of time and cost me an $11 mar gasket and a few qts. of mobil 1 oil but when the new gasket arrives I should be crawlin!!
