Not building a long travel setup, not a pre-runner, snow wheelin and mountain trails is the goal use. Not saying the same idea couldn't be use with higher end parts. When i did research most feedback is either desert fast or Ultra4 design. I do neither and most of what they build for is a LS* something something. Just trying to get a little more clearance, a little more travel and a better ride all in all. I hope.

I get what you are saying here. i originally was planning on a fun non racing truck too that could be smooth over rough terrain up to 30 MPH nothing too fast just be able to run fire roads and gravel at a decent speed.

I was just using their designs and technology and trying to find a cost effective way of accomplishing my goal.

another point i researched alot is torsion springs. I think most people give them a bad rap because they are less tunable than coilovers but they can perform pretty decent with the right shock valving. i found that as a way to achieve my objectives more cost effectively than coil overs.
