toyyota, i did some digging to confirm what you said about the 91 tank. what i found is the 89-95, EFI, 2wd, short bed, standard cab (vin RN80) gas tank is the same dimensions as the first gen short bed tank ! Today i hit the treasure yard and found one, set it next to my first gen tank and it appears to be identical except its an EFI tank . tomorrow when i see this thing bolt into my truck you got some turtle points coming your way! this tank is gonna save me a big pain in the a$$. thanks for the good info.

BigMike, after all this time how did i miss that your truck is a short bed? :smack:
a 20gal fuel tank would be awsome!
so the 3.4 fuel pump is more efficient and your saying it will work with the 22re huh? thats good to know.

if anyone knows of a efi tank that bolts into a first gen long bed post up, maybe this thread can be of use to someone else.
