I was very excited to just get out and use the truck.
That trip was just to make sure the truck worked.. Had some fun. learned some new trails. Nothing too technical.
Yes, I did try out the duals and what a difference. I have had dual 2:28s before, but the 2:28 4:70 is ridiculous. Im GLAD I DID NOT BUY A SINGLE 4:70 Tcase. I would say 3rd gear on a single 4.70 is still lower than 1st with a 2:28. I have to do some customizing to my shifter for the 2:28 crawl box in order to be able to disengage. I was stuck using mostly the 4.70 crawl box unless I busted out the screwdriver and tinkered around.
