Well I have never done a SAS but from the look's of my 86' runner you could cut that small tab off of the tower and re-weld it to your fram or make new tab. I realy dont think it will be in the way of anything. If you want to get real fabricator like you could run a whole new line from you master cylinder ta spot on the frame you know will be out of the way> Just my
