I'm looking foward to this thread.  I have seen some builds on 4x conversions.  It really made me wish I bought a prerunner first.  I have a 2000 Tacoma 3.4L w/ manual.

The money saved would have gone to an SAS and some kind of Marlin gearing setup.

I had never heard of Marlin, other Toyota vendors, or any forum before buying my truck.
