you may have to use an easy-out to remove the broken ones,I also have a set of reverse drill bits,so you start drilling the broken zerk out and if you are lucky the bit hangs up and starts removing the broken zerk,cloged ones I just use a vice grip to remove,missing ones just look in there and make sure there are no pieces in there and then install a new one
