I did the bowl mod on my weber and it still floods out on easy trails.  As cheesy said, you have to make frequent adjustments to webers for where you're driving.  I am tired of adjusting at home and re-adjusting for altitude/weather as I drove.  Pointless waste of time.  Carefully rebuild a factory card and call it good, and get the adapter to run the 22r carb if you have a 20r intake manifold (what I'm doing).

Or better yet, swap it out for propane or efi.

You can go through life being scared of the possible, or you can have a little fun and tease the inevitable.

Give a man venison, he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to hunt Blacktail, he'll be frustrated for life!
