Marlin got back from the 3rd and final round of work and in addition to mountainguyde's pics above, here come ours!

Rainbow Garnet Mine - Equipment Extraction III (final)
We went back up to the Rainbow Mine and pulled out the huge ball mill and the last remaining property from Wes Qualls for a final delivery to the Eastern Fresno County Historical Society Museum! Overall it was a huge success and we learned a lot about our High Sierra history from one really great museum curator and former mine operator!

Here we are at the Park'N'Ride at the bottom of Highway 168's "Four Lanes". This trailer belongs to Ed (mountainguyed67) from the 4WD Club of Fresno and is the only off road trailer we believe capable enough to haul out the huge ball mill! (hopefully!)

Here we are at Tamarak Pass Snow Park, Highway 168 above Shaver Lake, CA

Here we are on the Swamp Lake trail at the entrance to Wes' former private property

Here we are back with the huge Ball Mill that we pulled out last week!

This was our first rigging idea, which was to simply hoist up the ball mill, back the trailer under it, and be done. But we weren't able to stabilize the beam from each side as originally planned so the idea was dropped.
