It will depend on the CB you decide to go with. The simple 40 Channel $40 Cobra's/Uniden's are about the same size, but the rest are different sizes. While the dimensions alone would work for whatever size CB you decide to go with, you should have it on hand when you build the console, so you can test fit it, and decide how best to build the console so you can install/remove the CB when needed.
