Placement of the turbo doesn't matter that true just for looks....steeds manifold puts the turbo flipped up which requires a little tinkering to get it all to fit....lc engineerings  mani keeps it down which is what iI prefer I own a r te I've got a garret t3 tec turbo with internal wwaste gate do in between.  15 and 18psi the intercooler is def a way to go but like stated really only needed if runninI 8 or more psi anything over that the motor will get hot your mani will crack and cause havoc....as for tToyota doesn't make parts they do cause I often hit up my Toyota dealer for small items just very expensive like said before WWW.22rte-trucks.com is where u wanna go for any questions you have anything u need an answer to will be answered there
