Also just a idea but on my old set up I just welded a bolt to that cross member an mounted them right on that an put the nut on tight an good to go! Never had a problem with it at all!
I tried this but I Prematurely to this build welded my shock tabs to the top of my axle 3 years ago so they don't line up so that's when I came up with this idea. They lined up on the other truck I had which was a 4x4 frame but then on this 2wd build they did not about 3" off to the rear of that cross member.
