That is a pretty good idea, especially when the backing plate is removed as there is no structure to hold the hard lines. But I think the issue is the threads at the caliper are designed for a tapered brake line ferrel and I don't think there are enough of them to accommodate a banjo style bolt.


I don't believe the the threads are tapered on the brake caliper.
