It's the same deal that Obama did, they have to qualify for the 2 year temporary resident cards. Once they qualify for the temporary resident card they can apply for a drivers license. On a side note Arizona has already said that a drivers license is a no go there.

I had a girl working for me that fell within this category to a tee, she was brought here by her parents when she was 3. Now in her 20's and never having even been to Mexico, if caught would be deported. But to where do they send her, she knows no one and would be basically dumped on the streets. I'm not defending her but her parents actions would have her turned out on the mean streets of somewhere Mexico. I talked with her all the time on this and even though have an insight to this issue don't know that a blanket free pass for everyone that falls into this area should be allowed to stay. Should be on a case by case basis decided by a immigration judge not by executive order. Under the current rules anyone that can prove that they fall under the definition gets the temporary stay of deportation regardless of how they arrived. They way it should be done is did their parents bring them originally or did they themselves cross the border.  Plus what have you done since arriving here, this girl has a high school diploma in the U.S. was taking some junior college and working.

Reality check here is that we will never stop illegal immigration, I also had to deal with Canadians that overstayed their welcome too. Even as they say they hate the U.S. they flock here for the lifestyle and freedom we have and enjoy. I still think good ol' George W. Bush had the best way to deal with the problem, as in many other countries in Europe he tried to get a work visa program started here but was shot down in Congress. If passed illegal crossers would have been dealt with quicker and cost pennies compared to the current process, no papers meant a quick ride to the border, no months of court dates before they'd be sent home.
