yup start at the bottom and work up on the springs really. I have removed the bottom 2 springs out of my packs before.
I have done it on 2 of my trucks just helps with the pinion angle.
Bust as mentioned by OldGold3VZE let everything settle and remove some springs and see how it sits first then if its still bTad then you can rotate the knuckles.
