Any more thoughts on what would cause the intermittent hard shifting into first and second?Could it be a bad rubber hose by the slave?..Just checked under the dash with a flashlight and I see a previous weld around a stud above the cotter key and to the left on the clutch bracket seems broken. Not mechanical at all so hopefully can find someone in this motherlode area of California who will take it out reweld it and install. What's the best welding method with pics if possible or the OEM number for the bracket in case I need a new one?...thanks.
