built a 90 pick up on a 95 4runner frame and it works great. alot of people say stupid nonsense like the links are weak and rip off the housing but they have never built one so they run there mouth about things they know nothing of. yes if u lift an 4runner and wheel it i can see it doing bad things to the links and mounting tabs due to the very heavy tub sitting on the frame versus a short bed that i can lift by myself. ive had no problems and love the smooth ride.
