1st pic 2wd pan, 2nd pic with skid on sump, 4x4 pan. I think Rocksurfer is correct. I have a behind the axle tierod set-up & my tierod hit the skid on my 4x4 pan, not bad, but it has hit. I have the opposite problem as you, so I need a 2wd pan to keep the tierod off the pan. I had a 2wd pan & pick-up, but gave it to a buddy before I ever put it on.
