I just talked to a law professor. He basically said that the school has legal rights similar to that of a parent. The idea is that when you go onto school property you imply permission to have your car searched with or with out cause. It sounds like the state has given the school that right. However, if you were parked on a public road this would be very very iffy. Where did you park Lilbuddy? On public or school property? If you were on public property I would get a lawyer.
