Right.. well I got a rough idea on a quote from a fiberglass shop that does that kinda stuff like "re-gelling" old fiberglass...
$6000+ !!!!

Please someone tell me there is a cheaper option that I'm not seeing?

One cool thing is though.. the guy in that owns the fiberglass shop said.. I come buy and learn how to do everything I want to, and then go do it myself ... maybe🤔

I have seen some incredible MAACO paint jobs.  Its just that the owner did all the prep work.

Line-x comes in different colors, and has been used on boat hulls, RV roofs and campers for a few years now, might check with  local shop about the cost and added weight. Another option would be a wrap, you can get an estimate here WrapWorld, if you don't have a place close by that does it

thats bull crap if you ask me, 5 min of masking would have made that not happen. glass cleaner and painter thinner are your best friend as well as a clay bar.

Man. That's awesome, thanks.. I know a guy that will help me out to do it ourselves, has his own garage and has been doing fiberglass auto body work for decades.. but hey.. I'll look into the wraps, and that Line-X ..

might be, I'm wanting for some coloring  agent to show up for an old boat I'm working on. a 69 sears gamefisher. so old glass.
I've done the wet sanding and filled the holes and nics with "kitty hair" (good stuff)  next I'm going to spray the resin with a cheap spray gun
if that works don't see way it would not work on the camper shell. the resin run $50 at OSH. did not price the gallon of acetone. and
you could color the resin white.   the camper would most likely need 2 gallons. that's 2 of resin and acetone.

can you spray auto paint?
A good day working, that's just sick :reg:

So here's a little update.. I've done just about nothing with the truck/Chinook camper.. both are separated,

But here is something I did do, I weighed the cab and frame before putting the camper back to tell just how much a Chinook weighs.. ...So currently cab and frame is at 2830 lbs

Also, I think I discovered the problem to my "fuel drinking" problem.. I was driving one day and the gauge was sooo random, and finally fell flat... see what I'm getting at here... So I scraped and cleansed the plug and terminals on the top of the tank, she still does it.. So I may need to change up that plug.. but yeah in short I don't think it was my "fuel" but the fuel gauge .. anyway we'll see once I finally secure that plug tight.. 😁🤙

The resistance that comes through the sender is off. Remove it, you may be able to clean it. The contact part inside of the tank.
