New member, but not to Toyota trucks.
« on: Aug 16, 2013, 05:06:06 PM »
Hello all!

I'm new here but not to Toyota trucks, or Toyotas in general. I bought my 89 4Runner when I was 17, and I own it still at the ripe old age of 22. Some of you may recognize my tag from Yotatech, but if not, here's my build thread there:
http://www.yotatech.com/f199/zelephants-89-4runner-slow-no-dough-build-231172/
I also own another old Toyota, an 84 Celica GT-S. I've owned this for about a year and have done some small mods. Build thread:
http://www.celica-gts.com/forums/index.php?topic=25004.0

I haven't updated my truck's thread in a while, and I don't browse Yotatech as much as I used to. Life's gotten real busy this past year or so. You either have time and limited money to work on your rig or money and limited time, and I currently have the latter.

I'm here because as you can see in my build thread, I'm swapping a 3RZ into my 4Runner, and I'm starting to encounter challenges beyond the Yotatech knowledge base. I've read through the 3RZ knowledge base thread (some parts many times), and done a significant amount of searching and lurking on here in preparation for this project, but time to step forward and join up!
